Embedding Blogger within Ultranet

This article provides some guidance on how to embed a Blogger page within your Ultranet page and, if necessary, how to adjust its size.

Firstly, click on the edit button at the top right of the page and select 'Edit Page Content' to open the page editor. At the bottom of the page select the HTML button to open the HTML view.

Select any text already on the page and delete it. Copy the code below and paste it into the page.

<iframe width="100%" scrolling="auto" height="600" frameborder="1" src="BLOGGER LINK HERE"></iframe>

Now copy your Blogger link and paste it to replace the text marked "BLOGGER LINK HERE".

Then click on the 'Save Changes' button at the top of the page. The blog page should then appear inside your web page.

Adjusting the page width of your Blogger pages to fit inside your Ultranet page

Your blog page may need to be adjusted to fit correctly within your Ultranet page. To do this you will need to go to your blog site and log into it to access the edit menu.

Then bring up the page that has this menu down the left hand side.

Click on the 'Template' item in the menu. Next, click on the 'Customise' button shown to bring up the Blogger Template Designer.

Now click on the 'Layout' item in the menu. We recommend choosing the Body layout as shown as this spreads the blog all the way across the page.

Now click on the 'Adjust widths' item in the menu to adjust the width of the page. The width you choose to specify will depend on how you have placed the Page Content module on your page. For your reference, this support page outlines the various page widths within Ultranet.

Finally, click on the “Apply to Blog” button at the top right of the page to apply your settings to your Blog pages.

Note: Updates to your blog page will still need to be made by going to your blog site. Your embedded iframe within Ultranet is just for viewing, not editing.
