Configuring default Dashboard/Parent Portal tab views (Ultranet 2.6.1+)

With the new Dashboard and Parent Portal view in Ultranet 2.6+, it is possible to configure the default tab that loads for users. This is useful in instances where schools are not utilising a particular module or want to prioritise certain information over others.

Configuring the default Dashboard view

  1. Sign in as an Administrator and navigate to Admin > Module Management > Configure Modules.

  3. In the resulting pop-up window, you can set the default tab using the radio buttons on the left. Towards the right, you can set which area of Class Activity to show by default (i.e. the new Virtual Classrooms, Featured Class Pages, or all Class Pages).

If uSpace Activity is selected as the default tab, an additional option will appear allowing you to select the fallback tab to load should uSpace be disabled.
